Waking Gods

This is a silly and frivolous continuation of the mystery-robots-and-ancient-aliens nonsense introduced in Sleeping Giants.

It’s fine for what it is, but the “story told through files and transcripts” approach wears a bit thin. The author pushes the boundaries of the structure. It’s like a found footage movie that starts to show stuff that’s outside the scope of what would reasonably be found in direct footage.

But really, it’s a book about giant robots, so who cares?
