The Thomas Crown Affair (1999)

I thought I liked this movie.

I went so far as to buy it (albeit for $4.99) through Apple because I remember enjoying it.

But time is not always kind, and this movie is now kind of “meh.” I think what I enjoyed was the reverse-heist scene toward the end, and the music that accompanies it. The rest of the film just isn’t that good, and a lot of the rich-dude-taking-what-he-wants-when-he-wants-it stuff doesn’t play well now that we all understand rich dudes acting without consequences is a symptom of toxic masculinity.
