The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet

I got 90% of the way through this book waiting for the plot to kick in. But it didn’t.

And after I accepted that it didn’t really have a plot I found that I enjoyed spending time in this world with these characters. Becky Chambers does a great job building a world without it feeling like world building. You learn about the various alien species in this universe through the characters, and it feels natural.
