Long Shot

Ah, low expectations. You yield such wonderful surprises.

“Long Shot” is funnier and more charming than I would have ever expected a Seth Rogen movie to be.

The standouts are Charlize Theron (who needs to be in more comedies) and O’Shea Jackson Jr. (who really needs to be a huge star).

It’s also nice to see an R-rated comedy for a change. Those are in short supply.

Great line: I already added this one to my quotes collection: “The U.S. does not negotiate with terrorists, but … we do negotiate with homies.”
