Justice League

“Justice League” is the third best DC extended universe (DCEU) movie after “Wonder Woman” and “Shazam,” but that’s not saying much.

To be clear: “Wonder Woman” doesn’t require any qualifiers. It’s an excellent superhero film and I’m looking forward to the sequel.

The best thing I can say about “Justice League” is that it’s a diversion. I can’t say that about DCEU films like “Batman vs Superman” and “Suicide Squad” because those are actively bad.

Will the Snyder Cut be any good? Zack Snyder’s upcoming version of “Justice League” could clock in at four hours. Given Snyder’s nihilistic streak, and how horrible most of the DCEU films look, the prospect of being stuck in this world for four straight hours gives me deep anxiety.
