Booksmart

Pretty damn great.

I’m not going to bother comparing this to other high school party movies because it’s 100% better than any of those. It’s just a fantastic, fun, emotional movie with two stellar leads (Kaitlyn Dever and Beanie Feldstein).

Reference points are arbitrary: Dever has been in lots of stuff, but I always associate her with “Justified” even though that’s one random listing in her extensive filmography.
